Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil, butter each
  • 1 pcs shallot finely chopped
  • 1/4 pcs White onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala, chili powder, ground cumin each
  • 1 pcs Bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • Cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper to taste
  • 500 g Chicken thighs (boneless, skinless) cut into bite-size
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

For MC-110 Multicooker

  • Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3-5 minutes, put chicken, cook until lightly browned (about 10 minutes). After that remove chicken from the multicooker bowl and keep it aside. Put 1 tablespoon of oil into the multicooker bowl. Put shallot and onion and fry until onion is soft and translucent. Stir in butter, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, chili powder, cumin and bay leaf. Cook, stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add yogurt, mix and add half cooked chicken. Close the lid, simmer for 5-10 minutes stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together cornstarch and water, and add the mixture into multicooker bowl, mix and cook for 5-10 minutes with closed lid or until thickened. Press the “Cancel” button.

For MC-150 Multicooker

  • Put oil in the multicooker bowl, press “Menu” button to select “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 1 hour. Press “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3-5 minutes, put chicken, cook until lightly browned (about 10-15 minutes). After that remove chicken from the multicooker bowl and keep it aside. Put 1 tablespoon of oil in multicooker bowl, put shallot and onion and fry until onion is soft and translucent. Stir in butter, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, chili powder, cumin and bay leaf. Cook, stirring occasionally for 3-5minutes. Add tomato sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes stirring frequently. Add yogurt, mix and add half cooked chicken. Close the lid, simmer for 10-15 minutes stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper.
