Potato pie with sour cream called “Kljukusa” is an old traditional Bosnian-Herzegovinian dish that is prepared in a quick and easy way.
Originally, this pie was made only from potatoes, flour, spices and oil, but like any recipe, it has experienced its modern variations.
Our pie “kljukusa” is one of those modern variations with sour cream and milk and kefir, and it is topped with a delicious garlic topping, which gives it a special juiciness and a special taste at the end.

Potato Pie With Sour Cream - "Kljukusa"
Ingredients
For pie
- 21 oz potatoes peeled and grated
- 2 onion grated
- 1 cup kefir
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 oz flour
- 1.75 oz butter
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper
For topping
- 1 cup cooking sour cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- salt
Instructions
- Grate the potatoes and onions and place in a bowl. Add salt and pepper.
- Add eggs, kefir, milk, oil, sour cream, flour and butter. Mix everything well.
- Pour into a greased pan and bake for about 35 minutes at 446 F (230 ° C).
- In the meantime, make a topping.
- Fry chopped garlic in oil, add cooking cream and sour cream and stir until it boils.
- Cut the warm pie into cubes and pour over the prepared topping.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
